Through its social networks, the club stated: “We deeply regret that the great fans of Delicias are deprived of the show again, our commitment and work project is very great, since we had the hiring of national team players and internationals that would raise the level of play and spectacle”.
And he adds: “We infinitely appreciate the support shown by you for this project, however the doors have not been opened for us to participate.”
The president of the State Basketball League, Tomás Hernández, made the departure of the Algodoneros de Delicias team official, stating that they will speak with the board to see the causes that have led them to make this decision.
With the departure of Algodoneros from the tournament, there will only be seven teams that will see action in the 2022 season, which will start on January 28 with the first day.
