Villa again launched pressure into the MU penalty box and sparked chaos. Nemanja Matic almost got the ball into his own net but he was lucky that De Gea was quick to throw the ball away. Buendia grabbed the ball and sent it back into the penalty box. But Watkins’ header went wide of goal.
GOAL! Villa thinned the difference in the 77th minute. Carney Chukwuemeka passed to Philippe Coutinho and the ball was passed to Ramsey after hitting the United players first. Calmly, Ramsey directs the ball into the right corner of the goal.
GOAL! Villa evened the score in the 82nd minute. Buendia’s through ball from the left was received by Ramsey who stabbed into the penalty box and continued to send a pass to the right. Varane failed to cut the ball and Coutinho freely found the ball into the goal.
Another opportunity from Villa in the 88th minute. Villa’s slick cooperation was completed with Coutinho’s kick from in front of the penalty box. It’s just that his kick was too weak to bother De Gea.
