PENNOCK
Darlene Carolyn
February 16, 1957 – January 14, 2022 (Ukrainian New Year’s Day)
It is with heavy hearts and sadness we announce the sudden passing of Darlene in her favourite spot in the world, in her kitchen, along the river in Midland.
Darlene was born in Mayorthorpe, Alberta and soon moved to the farm in Munson where she was raised, attending school in Munson and later in Morrin. She loved curling, figure skating and playing piano. She attended Henderson Business College and spent many years at the Health Unit as assistant administrator. Darlene met AlanPennock in Morrin High School and they were married June 9, 1979. She left work to be the best stay-at-home Mom to her 3 boys, Jordan, Ryan and Tyler. While looking after the kids, she helped build 3 houses as the family grew bigger. She always grew a huge garden.
Driving the boys to baseball, swimming, hockey and curling, she proudly enjoyed watching them grow.
Darlene leaves to mourn, her husband Alan; her sons Jordan, Ryan and Tyler; brothers Mike, Gordon, Gary; her sister Joyce and many in-laws and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Mike and Olga Mraz.
At Darlene’s request, there will be no funeral service.
Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Darlene Carolyn Pennock February 16 1957 January 14 2022 (age 64)..
