Panathinaikos winger Spyros Tzavidas has retired at the age of 20 due to health problems.

“I didn’t expect it, but the time has come to leave the football field after 14 years – at least as a professional player,” Tzavidas, who has two caps for Greece’s U19s, began his statement.
“The decision to leave the pitch is based on a health issue, which doesn’t affect me negatively off the pitch,” Tzavidas continued, without wanting to go into too much detail.
