After spending the first part of the 2021-2022 season at Peristeri, playing in Greece and the FIBA Europe Cup (10.1 points to 51.2% success on shots and 4.7 rebounds in 26 minutes out of 17 matches, all competitions combined), Erik McCree (2.02m, 28) is leaving the Greek club for Turkey, as ex-teammate Ian Miller did earlier this month. The former BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque player will play alongside Franco-Guinean pivot Alpha Kaba for Gaziantep, a team which has obtained good results in this first phase of the regular season (sixth with 10 wins in 16 matches). Shooting winger, the Floridian has passed through the G-League, Italy, France, Denmark and therefore Greece since the start of his professional career. This will be the first time he will play in Turkey.
