Borussia Dortmund boss Michael Zorc said he was surprised to hear Erling Haaland‘s comments about his future.
The striker who was most wanted by a row of European giants had revealed that he was under “pressure” from the Dortmund camp itself, to make a decision about his future.

Haaland, 22, has two more years on his contract at Signal Iduna Park. However, his £66m release clause in his contract will be active when he enters the transfer market next summer.
Haaland’s comments that he felt “pressure” at Dortmund made Zorc feel the need to provide clarification.
“Erling’s statement surprised me a little,” Zorc told Kicker.
“There is currently no deadline, no deadline, and there hasn’t even been any discussion yet [mengenai transfer potensial Haaland],” continued the club officials.
“However, we want and must have talks in certain situations so that everything is clear, understandable and only remains [sikap] professional,” he said.
Haaland’s name continues to be associated with top European clubs. The duo Manchester, City and United, El Clasico duo, Barcelona and Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all believed to be serious about signing the Norwegian striker.
Since wearing Dortmund’s shirt in the 2019/20 winter edition, Haaland has so far made a total of 77 appearances in all competitions. His goal record is absolutely phenomenal, reaching 78 goals!
