Those in charge at FC Bayern made it clear at the end of last year that they have no intention of adding staff again in winter. According to current media reports, however, it cannot be ruled out that Munich will be active on the transfer market in January.
Most recently, reports made the rounds that the FCB is saving for a mega transfer in the summer and is therefore not ready to spend money in the winter. As “BILD” football boss Christian Falk reports, Hasan Salihamidzic is still sounding out the transfer market intensively in the background.
According to Falk, Bayern are quite willing to sign players in January, but only if they move to Munich for free next summer. Accordingly, you want to prevent these players from switching to the competition.
Do Bayern strike at Rüdiger?
The record champions were recently associated with numerous “free transfer professionals”. Above all, the name Antonio Rüdiger should be high on the wish list of the Munich residents. The 28-year-old DFB star could replace Niklas Süle, who is willing to change, in Bayern’s defense center. However, Rüdiger arouses desires in many top European clubs.
Players like Matthias Ginter or Denis Zakaria (both Borussia Mönchengladbach) are also traded on Säbener Straße.
