Eight are the judokas selected to represent the state capital in the state phase of the CONADE 2022 National Games in the discipline of judo.
To form the representative, a municipal selective tournament was organized by the Potosina Judo Association in coordination with the Municipal Sports Directorate, which was held in the Combat Sports Hall (SADECO).
After the respective fights in the different categories, the best eight were chosen, which were:
In the men’s branch there were four: José de Jesús Moreno Cano who was the winner of the Sub 18 category; Orlando Reyna Cano in the children’s category “B” 64 kilograms; Kevin Teniente Cano in the under 18 category under 60 kilograms, and Abraham Cano Cervantes in the children’s category “B” over 64 kilograms.
Of the ladies, four were also selected: Ana Sophia Hernández Yáñez in the Under 16 category under 52 kilograms; Aylin Yamilet Reyna Cano in the under 18 women’s category under 57 kilograms; Cristina Marceleño in the children’s category “B” less than 48 kilograms, and María José Briones Silva in the children’s category “B” more than 64 kilograms.
It is worth mentioning that this was the first time that a municipal eliminatory was held in the capital of Potosí, which speaks of the growth and acceptance that judo has had in our city and that more and more young people practice it.
