In 2020, Metz has been labeled “Preparation center for the 2024 Olympics“ to welcome foreign delegations.
François GROSDIDIER, mayor of the city, confirmed this Monday, January 24, 2022 the arrival of athletes in Metz to take advantage of exceptional sports structures in order to perfect their physical preparation.
Four places for 6 disciplines have been approved in Metz: the Saint Symphorien complex for the Table tennis and Paralympic table tennis, the Arenas for the handball, the judo and the gymnastic, the pelvis of the maiden for the kayak and the body of water for therowing and Paralympic rowing.
