After having won the sports instance of the Pre-Federal, Zorros Básquetbol de San Martín de los Andes, an institution that is on its way to being seven years old, will participate for the first time in the Federal League.
With the continuity of Víctor Serna as coach and several youth players who have been showing a lot of growth in sports, some players have joined as reinforcements. Undoubtedly, the arrival of the American Anthony Joseph, 2.01 meters, with a past in Petrolero Argentino, among other clubs, will give the squad a significant share of experience.
In addition, they are already in full preseason (it takes place on the Lake Lacar waterfront and in different natural areas offered by San Martín de los Andes), Jesús Sánchez, a forward of 1.93 with a past in Quimsa, and Gabriel Parente, a pivot 2.04, young and very physically strong. Likewise, Bruno Canestrari from the Lacar club joined, who will contribute goal from outside positions and point guard Juan Ayciriex, a young man trained with the Foxes, who for study reasons lived in the Federal Capital and returns to his hometown after wearing the Harrods shirt .
The architects of reaching the third category of national basketball continue: Julián Castillo, Esteban Paganini, Edgar García, Mauro Baldone, Nicolás Fernández, Gabriel Mattis, Santiago Vázquez, Matías Lara, Nicolas Carmanchahi and a group of youths with very good performance in the Pre-Federal as are Thiago Serna and Tomás Djederenjian. The team is completed by Iñaki Querejeta, Matías Hes, Walter Andrade and Santino Malone.
Zorros is working both on the physical side, under the orders of teachers Diego Molina and Luciano Vigo, as well as on the technical and tactical side led by Serna in the municipal gymnasium of Barrio Arenal, where he will play at home throughout the tournament.
