Our Galatasaray Women’s Basketball Team signed an agreement with the US guard Kelsey Plum.
Born on August 24, 1994 in Poway, California, USA, Plum made history in his college career. Having the title of highest scorer in NCAA history with his performance in the Washington Huskies between 2013 and 2017, Plum ended his adventure as the top scorer in college league history with 3,527 points ahead of Kelsey Mitchell. Plum still holds the title of top scorer in a full season in the NCAA with 1,080 points.
He was picked first by the San Antonio Stars in the 2017 WNBA drafts and was named to the WNBA All-Rookie team. Playing for Las Vegas in the WNBA after San Antonio, Plum averaged 14.8 points and 3.6 assists in his last season in 26 games. With her outstanding performance in September of 2021, she was named the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Month and was named the WNBA’s sixth best female player.
Having won the gold medal with the USA team in the 3×3 Basketball Tournament at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Plum was also part of the champion team at the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.
