In an interview Juan Felipe Cadavid, Caracol radio journalist, the player expressed the situation he is currently experiencing after his diagnosis and expressed his situation with Deportes Tolima.
“Everything has been very difficult. Since I made the decision to leave because I didn’t feel well mentally talking about helping, collaborating. -It was something that I did hear about depression, but in reality when it happens to you you don’t really know things.
After he was diagnosed, Celis said that he is taking medication every day, leading the process with a specialist who has been treating him since his arrival in Ibagué.
“It has been very difficult having to take pills every day, feeling strange things in your body, feelings of running away, because it’s just that; desperation, anxiety, the days go by and you don’t find a way out of things, It’s sad that something I love like football led me to this.” counted the steering wheel
He also revealed the different situations that happened in Deportes Tolima where he was in the last year.
“Many things have happened since my arrival in Tolima. In this last semester that has passed, I felt full since the preseason, I think I showed it when I had to play, but I felt that it was not important for the team and they did not make me feel it either, That’s where despair came in.”
At the moment the player is in the city of Sincelejo, recovering and looking for a club that will give him the happiness he lost in recent days, playing football.
