Second division handball team HSC 2000 Coburg has announced two additions for the coming season. The former fan favorite Max Jaeger from the Bundesliga club HC Erlangen is returning to Itz, while his brother Felix is coming from the second division competitor Rimpar. “For me it is a great opportunity to develop personally and athletically and also to realize my dream of playing with my twin brother Max again,” said Felix Jaeger. “Thanks to Max’s Coburg past, I have of course already got some insight into the structure of the club and I already know a few faces.” HSC has also signed 21-year-old Icelander Tumi Steinn Runarsson from Valur Iceland for the second half of the season. “With so many injuries, I’m happy to have another option in the backcourt,” said coach Brian Ankersen. “We will now try to integrate Tumi as soon as possible.”
