Serie A baseball will begin on April 2 with 31 teams, after the forfeit of Viterbo: 3 groups of 8 teams and one of 7. The 8 seeded (Parma, Cagliari, Fortitudo, Collecchio, San Marino, Godo, Nettuno 1945 and Macerata) were included 2 per group, together with a newly promoted one (Poviglio, Padua, Torre Pedrera and Grosseto). Godo is in group C with San Marino, New Rimini, Crocetta, Torre Pedrera, Sala Baganza, Longbridge Bologna and Modena. In the 1st phase there are 2 matches (out of 9 innings) for each one-way match day. The ranking at the end of the 4 rounds will create different paths that will proclaim the Italian champions and the winners of the Italian Cup. The first 2 of each group will go to the top of the board (with 2 groups of 4) which will sanction the Italian champion team: 3 challenges will be played every weekend at the limit of 7 rounds, round trip with one-way intergirone phase and the first 2 classified will play the crossed semifinals to get to the championship final. The other 23 teams will be part of the draw for the Italian Cup, with 3 groups of 6 teams and 1 one of 5 (2 matches per weekend of 9 innings). The teams that will be eliminated from the championship will be progressively included in the tournament for the Italian Cup.

Meanwhile, Godo is organizing to face the 2022 season, defining the technical assets: confirmed manager Stefano Naldoni in his 2nd season, Daniele Fuzzi is back in the staff who, in addition to supporting Naldoni, will cover the role of first base coach with Daniel Orselli, Luca Servidei senior third base coach. Pitching coach Luca Poli confirmed; Luis Hernandez and Dunier Ibarra complete the picture. The goal of the Goths is to confirm themselves among the 8 seeded players and to enhance the young players with the progressive inclusion in the first team and to increase the precious work done with the Byzantine franchise with Ravenna Baseball.
