Kyle Kuzma doesn’t say very enlightened things as a rule, but he has a pretty indisputable sense of humor. The Washington Wizards player, very fit at the moment, made an impression against the Philadelphia Sixers on Monday. Not only did his team win, but he offered himself one of the actions of the night with a good big family dunk on the truffle of Joel Embiid.
Obviously, there was a fun little history between the two men dating back to when Kuzma was a rookie with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“I owed him one, actually. During my rookie season, I tried to dunk him, but it didn’t go well. He came to me afterwards and said if I tried that again one day he would give me a right hand, so I owed him one.
Afterwards, I find that it was not so violent. I dunked on him, but it wasn’t that spectacular. I’m half white, so I didn’t go that high. I’m just happy to have managed to take off”, explained Kyle Kuzma in front of the press.
This season, Kuzma is like a duck in water with the Wizards and has 15.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3 assists at 45.4%. We can consider that this is the best career season for the former Laker, especially since Washington is in the race for the playoffs in the East, since the franchise of the federal capital currently occupies the 8th up to 5 wins from leader Chicago.
