NEW DELHI – Mixed doubles from Singapore, Hee Yong Kai Terry/Tan Wei Han performed well in the final of the India Open 2022 which took place on Sunday (16/1/2022) afternoon WIB. Facing representatives of Malaysia, Chen Tang Jie/Peck Yen Wei, Hee/Tan were able to win with a score of 21-15, 21-18, and ensured the winner at the 2022 India Open.
Since the first game started, Hee/Tan was able to play very well. They then immediately took the advantage over Chen / Peck with the numbers 3-0.
However, Chen/Peck did not immediately give up. They can find a gap so that the position is at 5-5. However, Hee/Tan didn’t let their opponent stay in front for long.

The couple, who just married in October 2021, took the lead again at the first interval, 11-8. Chen/Peck tried to catch up, but Hee/Tan could maintain a 14-11 advantage.
After that, Hee/Tan can turn off Chen/Peck’s move. This situation made Hee/Tan immediately move away without being able to be chased. They also won the first game with a score of 21-15.
The same thing then also happened in the second game. Hee/Tan once again lead at the start with 2-0. Meanwhile, Chen/Peck have to work hard to catch up.
The Chen/Peck duo could only equalize after Hee/Tan made a mistake. It made the position even stronger, 5-5. Not only that, Chen/Peck also turned out to be leading 9-7.
Unfortunately, Chen / Peck’s advantage did not last long. Because their move was stopped by Hee / Tan who equalized the score 9-9. Hee/Tan then took the lead at the second interval, 11-9.
The game continued, Hee / Tan did not lower the tempo of the game. They also managed to widen the distance 16-9. Entering critical points, Hee/Tan lost focus.
