Regrets Dejan Veljkovic wrote in his book that Ivan Leko would have received black money for some transfers. Leko no longer accepts the accusations and goes to court.

According to The newspapaer Veljkovic and Leko were good friends. The broker launched Leko’s coaching career at OHL. The Croatian trainer then went to work for STVV and Club Brugge. At Club he would have secretly put money in his own pockets for the transfers of Mats Rits, Karlo Letica and Ivan Tomecak.

“Manifest lies”, it sounds at Leko. And so Leko takes the Serbian real estate agent before the civil court of Antwerp. “His reputation as a coach is very important, now that this affects his market value and his salary,” says lawyer Van Steenbrugge.
