Iverson Molinar, American College Basketball Player of the Week

Panamanian basketball player Iverson Molinar was designated Player of the Week in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) of men’s college basketball in the United States.

Over the past seven days, Molinar has posted averages of 26 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. His performance has helped the Mississippi State Bulldogs to six wins and their last seven games.

On January 12, he had 28 points and seven assists in Mississippi State’s win over Georgia, 88-72. Those were the highest figures of his career in American college basketball.

Currently, the Isthmian is the leading scorer of the Mississippi state team, with 32.9 units, and leads the assists department, with 71, in 16 games played so far this season.

Molinar is the only Bulldogs player to score double figures (10 points or more) in every game that team has played this season.
