As year after year since the “Sportsman of the Year” award was instituted in 1992, the discipline of judo has been present and in this 2021 it is no exception and is seeking to obtain its thirteenth award, to reaffirm itself as the most winner of it.
For this event, the athlete who will be in the contest is Jael Alhelí López, after achieving the following results during the year 2021: She was part of the official Parral team, for all the events of the State Association and Mexican Federation, national children’s tournament, selective for the Conade national games, of the Tomoyoshi Yamagushi Mexican Federation in the city of Aguascalientes, achieving a Bronze medal, thereby qualifying for the national games event to be held in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
In addition, within the Conade 2021 national games championship, based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, having three fights, he managed to obtain a bronze medal for the Chihuahua team; In the national championship in Oaxtepec Morelos, in the month of October, official championship of the Mexican Judo Federation, selective for the pan-american children’s judo championship in the Dominican Republic, he won a silver medal and thus qualified for the pan-american event.
