Jamaica will return to the Winter Games with a four-man bob for the first time since 1998. The Caribbean winter sports enthusiasts qualified as the 28th and last candidate for the Olympic start list.
The entire Jamaican bobsleigh team is therefore bigger than ever, because a two-man bob for the men and the female mono bobber Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian also travel to China.
The four-man bob will most likely be led by helmsman Shanwayne Stephens. The Jamaican Bobsleigh Federation has yet to announce the rest of the team, but there’s a good chance Stephen’s regular pushers Rolando Reid, Ashley Watson and Matthew Wekpe will join them.
