On the program for this episode of AEW Rampage on January 28, 2022, Jon Moxley in action against Anthony Bowens, Jade Cargill defends her title of TBS champion and the tag team titles are at stake in the main event.

We start this episode with Jon Moxley’s match against half of The Acclaimed, after a rap in praise of Renee Paquette and indie wrestling. Moxley liked it very much.

Jon Moxley a battu Anthony Bowens by falling with his Paradigm Shift. Good game, Bryan Danielson enjoyed it from behind the scenes.

After a promo from Nyla Rose for her match against Ruby Soho at Dynamite next Wednesday, we find Andrade El Idolo in the locker room asking Darby Allin to sign a contract, but the latter refuses. At the insistence of El Idolo Allin pulls out a baseball bat. Andrade El Idolo still asks him to reconsider his answer.

FTR defeated Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson by pinfall with a spike piledriver on Johnson. Good match, even if a little behind in its first part.

Mercedes Martinez will face Thunder Rosa next week at Rampage after a few weeks of spades through promos.

26-0 for Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill a battu Julia Hart by falling with his Jaded Slam. A short match dominated by the TBS champion with a very brief comeback from the challenger who wrestles with one eye covered under an eye patch — she is thought to transform into Nadine from Twin Peaks.

The main event sees Jurassic Express defend the AEW Tag Team Championship titles against Private Party. The Gunn Club is set up ringside to observe the match and keep an eye on their future challenge, also entertaining the champions at the start of the match.

Jurassic Express ont battu Private Party by pinfall with the Thoracic Express on Marq Quen to retain their titles.

After the match the Gunn Club attacks the tag team champions and takes their belts. The challenge is clearly launched this time.

A good episode of AEW Rampage. Moxley against Danielson is becoming clearer, as is Jurassic Express against the Gunn Clun for the Tag Team Championship, and Jade Cargill is still waiting for her big challenge.
