BOLASPORT.COM – Happy New Year’s greetings for Liverpool while being coached by Jurgen Klopp can be double-edged.

On the one hand, like the moment of the turn of the year, there is joy and hope that is proclaimed as soon as January 1st is entered.

On the other hand, for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, the New Year can also mean entering into a tradition that is scary for them.

January was a horror for Juergen Klopp’s Liverpool as they were not particularly dominant in winning the Premier League in the first month of the calendar year.

Since 2015-16, Liverpool have only managed to win 50 percent of their matches in the Premier League which took place in January.

In 2015-2016, Liverpool only won over Norwich, lost to West Ham 0-2 and Manchester United 0-1, and drew 3-3 against Arsenal.

The following season, Jurgen Klopp even failed to bring Liverpool to win in January.

The Reds lost 2-3 to Swansea and only drew against Sunderland (2-2), Manchester United (1-1), and Chelsea (1-1).
