Judokas from Hidalgo would lose the opportunity of a camp in Hungary due to a pandemic – El Sol de Hidalgo

The judokas from Hidalgo, Luz Olvera and Paulina Garnica, will have to wait for news to find out if they will travel to Hungary, the site of a camp that will take place in the near future and that has been suspended for the time being due to the pandemic.

In an interview for El Sol de Hidalgo, Verónica González Pastén, trainer and president of the Judo Association of Hidalgo, reported that both Luz and Paulina were preparing to travel to the camp in Hungary with the National Team of the specialty, which had to be suspended until further notice.

“So far, due to the conditions of the pandemic, we do not know if they would make the trip in the month of March, when there is information on the specific date on which the camp would be held.”

In turn, he indicated that for the state selected the State Selection that would begin its activity with the National Tournament “Prof. Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi” for the cadet, junior, senior and veteran categories that will also take place in March in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

“The above because the classification for the National Games of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Conade), marks that it is through a regional stage, but until now, nothing has been defined in this regard, so we have to wait for news.”
