Kagami Biraki: the tradition respected by judokas

It was in the presence of Monique Thomas, president of the CSC and Judo-club that two traditional vows ceremonies called Kagami Biraki took place.

Young judokas from the Vaux-sous-Aubigny section took part in this event on Wednesday January 19, in their dojo. Those of the commune had done so, in their room in the rue Hoche, the previous Wednesday. As tradition dictates, a rice cake was made for the occasion but due to the health situation, it could not be shared among the young judokas. Instead, they got an individual bag containing treats.

For the Vaux-sous-Aubigny section, the Kagami Birak i allowed to highlight Samuel Zunino who recently obtained his 3e dan. La 4e dan Patricia Coquet, his first teacher when he started judo in Saulon-la-Chapelle, was there to congratulate him.

Maxime Barbier was officially given, at the same time, his black belt from the hands of Samuel, his teacher, offered by the Judo-club of Chalindrey.
