Kamara remains an issue for Bayern

Corentin Tolisso‘s contract expires in the summer. Even if an extension is not ruled out, FC Bayern are already looking at potential successors for the 27-year-old midfielder. One player who has been Bayern’s focus for months is Boubacar Kamara.

Kamara is currently under contract with Olympique Marseille, but the 22-year-old midfielder will not extend his contract, which expires in the summer. Due to the fact, numerous top clubs have already targeted the six – according to the latest media reports, Bayern and Manchester United in particular are said to be serious about the French. “L’Equipe” reports that both clubs are closely monitoring Kamara’s situation and are aiming for a free transfer in the summer.

Marseille haven’t given up hope of a contract extension just yet

The French newspaper also says that although Marseille is still hoping for a contract extension with Kamara, this seems rather unrealistic. The top talent was trained in Marseille’s youth and made the leap to the professionals in 2017. His favorite position is central defensive midfield, but Kamara can also play central defence.
