A massacre: five dead in Licata. It is a whole family, father, mother and two minor children. The fifth victim would be the man who killed them, who shot himself in the head after carrying out the extermination.
The tragedy occurred in via Riesi, on the outskirts of the city. At the origin of the serious event that happened there would be family reasons that the carabinieri are trying to reconstruct. On the spot the soldiers of the Provincial Command of Agrigento and those of the Company of Licata.
The man who would have drawn the gun and fired the gunshots at his family members would be Angelo Tardino, 48 years old. Fragmentary news still arrives; the victims would be Angelo Tardino’s brother, his sister-in-law and his two nephews aged 11 and 15.
According to rumors, there are economic reasons at the origin of the family quarrel from which the massacre arose.
After killing his relatives, Angelo Tardino would return to his home, confessing to his wife what he had just done. Then he would leave the house and shoot himself.
