Our compatriot took part, in Melbourne, in the first Grand Slam of her career in women’s doubles.
It’s not an event that made the headlines or the headlines but it is a step that will be important in the career of our compatriot Kimberley Zimmermann. At 26, the Brussels native participated this week in Melbourne in her first Grand Slam. In women’s doubles, a discipline on which she has been concentrating and devoting her work for several months. Currently ranked 92nd in the world, Kimberley took advantage of a saving package to enter the main draw with the Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova.
