Korea Badminton Association donates supplies to the badminton team at Icheon City Hall

[뉴스줌=정진태기자] The Korea Badminton Association donated badminton rackets (20 pieces) and shuttlecocks (25 strokes) to the badminton team at Icheon City Hall.

This is to celebrate the founding of the badminton club among the two sports of the Icheon City Hall (Mayor Tae-Jun Um) workplace sports club on December 29 last year, and to encourage players and to devote themselves to improving performance.

Since its foundation in 1957, the Korea Badminton Association has 17 city and provincial branch offices, including Gyeonggi Province, and is a popular sports organization estimated to have approximately 2 million members nationwide.

Icheon City is also one of the sports clubs are most active in, and the Icheon Bridge Badminton Gymnasium is always full of vitality with people who use it on weekday evenings and weekends.

A city official said, “Due to the long-term epidemic of Corona 19, we are operating in strict compliance with quarantine rules so that citizens can use it safely, and we will make every effort to make the Icheon City Hall badminton club a team that grows together with the citizens.”
