Lakers do not activate Anthony Davis for the game against the Heat

Anthony Davis will not be activated by the Lakers for the game on Sunday, January 23, 2022 against the Miami Heat, in the regular season of the NBA.

The power forward is close to returning to the courts after more than a month of absence due to a knee injury. There was a strong possibility that he would return on this day, but the club decided to give him more rest.

Davis hasn’t played since mid-December. He hurt his leg during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the 17th of last month.

In the current season, Davis is averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
