LaMelo: ‘I’m never nervous on the basketball court…’

Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball explained why she was never “nervous” on the basketball court.

Talking about the great influence of his father, LaVar Ball, on his courageous playing style and his ability to remain calm on the court, LaMelo expressed the advice that he considers very important in terms of making him what he is today:

“No, I’m never nervous on the court. No lie, it was my father who instilled that in me. He used to say that the real nervousness was having nowhere to go, someone holding a gun to your head, or not being able to eat. So when playing basketball, I’m never nervous.”

In his second season in the NBA, LaMelo averaged 19.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game.
