The Lara sports venues for the XX National Games 2022 are ready to receive the athletes and the public, informed the president of the Sports Institute of the central-western entity, Arnoldo Zambrano.
He stressed that these scenarios are the Máximo Viloria Sports Center, where athletics will take place; Rowing and canoeing will be held at the Dos Cerritos reservoir, as well as the Aquilino Juares de Cabudare and the Los Horcones de Barquisimeto Gymnasium, where futsal will be played.
He specified that next Monday, January 31, the day the games begin in the country, futsal will begin at the Aquilino Juares and Los Horcones Gymnasium.
He stated that in the following week rowing, canoeing and athletics will take place in the Dos Cerritos reservoir and in the Máximo Viloria.
He recalled that these games will be held from January 31 to February 12, in seven states of the country, an event in which more than 7 thousand athletes from Venezuela will participate.
Zambrano added that in each of Lara’s sports venues, the capacity of 40% will be met, as well as all biosecurity protocols. DC
