DIVE DEEPER

In the wake of the Lakers’ blistering loss to the Nuggets, LeBron James remains silent

The day after the Lakers’ third straight loss, one of their biggest fans commented on their play against the Nuggets. Magic Johnson expressed his thoughts online as follows: “After being blown away by the Nuggets 133-96, we as Lakers fans can accept being outplayed, but we deserve more than a lack of effort. and no sense of urgency. Owner @JeanieBuss, you deserve better.

Following that disappointing night at the office, “King” James decided to sit out the press conference and made no statement to the media. Above all, it’s a rather rare occurrence considering the fact that LeBron James almost always shows up to face the music.

LeBron James didn’t speak tonight, which rarely happens.

James’ production in his last few games, including Wednesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, hasn’t been great as we can assume his age and long playing hours are affecting his performance.

Besides him, Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard kept the team together, but the rest of the team wasn’t in top form. Due to the Lakers’ back-to-back losses, they are 21-22, keeping them out of the top eight teams in the Western Conference.
