I want Russ to be so respected!
LeBron James didn’t appreciate the whistle, nor did he appreciate Rudy Gobert’s big angry gesture towards the referee, which didn’t earn him a technical foul. The King therefore simply asked the game’s assessor to be as lenient in his judgment with Russell Westbrook, who also deserves a little preferential treatment because of his legendary status. The ringleader finally avenged himself a few minutes later.
It’s hard to know if this rant will have any effect on the referees, but Russell Westbrook no doubt appreciated the gesture. He feels supported, which can only be beneficial for the rest of the season.
