About fifty unvaccinated people protested peacefully in front of the carabinieri barracks of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian islands. “As free citizens we are here to present each of us with a complaint about the deprivations we are subjected to every day in violation of constitutional rights,” says Ersilia Pajno, of the committee in defense of the rights of Aeolian citizens which has about 300 members.
“We do not agree on the actions taken by the national government – explains Pajno -, our conscience was formed on listening, reading, comparing ideas, we also read studies that tell us that the vaccine still cannot be considered as such, but beyond that if so why does the government keep us signing informed consent? The national government makes it mandatory and assumes responsibility for it ”.
The protesters demand that the complaints be forwarded to the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto prosecutor’s office. “The carabinieri let us in one by one to present the complaint”, concludes Pajno.
