Men’s Basketball/National 3. Dessenheim is not serene

The optimists among the leaders and supporters of ASL Dessenheim, before the meeting in Sélestat last Saturday, were not legion. Let’s just say we didn’t find any.

Some saw Vasiljevic‘s team take a beating. Limited to six players and deprived of one of its major elements, Hugo Bourblanc, it finally made a good figure by losing “only” 23 points. However, this honorable behavior did not bring anything from an accounting point of view.

It is a seventh defeat in a row, the ninth in twelve games, which has increased the liabilities of the Hardtois. Who are once again risking a lot this Saturday (8 p.m.), at home, against Poligny and his snipers (read opposite). The Jurassians did not do half measures against Rixheim, also relegated to 23 points (97-74).

In the first leg, while captain Patrick Fest and his teammates were in more favorable moral dispositions, they had cracked (94-59) against this team which still has other assets called Dejan Radojevic – the visitor counterpart of Bojan Petrovic – or Kevin Mouchi.

If the ASLD wants to have a chance to win, it will have to perform the perfect performance, because Hugo Bourblanc will again be absent on the score sheet.
