MR News | The countdown does not stop: 100 days from the Rosario 2022 South American Games

This Monday, January 17, there are only 100 days left before the start of the III South American Youth Games to be held in Rosario from April 28 to May 8, which will be the most important sporting event in the history of the city and the province of Santa Fe.

2,500 athletes will participate, representing 15 countries from South America and the Caribbean, who will compete in 26 sports.

The venue will be the Parque Independencia, which will become the Parque Único Suramericano, a new concept of centralized organization, which is made up of eight clusters containing the different scenarios in which the competitions will take place: Hippodrome, Lake, Paseo 21 , La Rural, Municipal Stadium, Pool Complex and the Provincial and Newell’s Old Boys clubs.

In addition, one of the great attractions will be the Fan Fest, a space that will be on the Oroño corridor, between Pellegrini and 27 de Febrero, in which the public will be able to enjoy various recreational, sports, cultural, educational and tourist activities.

The 26 sports that make up the sports program are Athletics, Rugby 7, Hockey 5, Archery, Badminton, Cycling, Triathlon, Climbing, Skateboarding, 3×3 Basketball, Boxing, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Olympic Wrestling, Table Tennis, Fencing , Beach Handball, Beach Volleyball, Roller Skating, Figure Skating, Swimming, Artistic Gymnastics, Tennis, Weightlifting and Futsal.
