Nadal, very close to the boys in Melbourne

Knowing its closeness with fans in Oceania, the Rafael Nadal Tour was created jointly organized by the Rafa Nadal Foundation and Tennis Australia. About 30 children, tennis practitioners and fans, spent a long time with their idol within hours of a new foray into the Australian Open.

Front row not only for a training session but also to exchange questions and answers with the champion of 20 Grand Slam tournaments.

Nadal, who will start at the Australian Open as the sixth seed, arrives in high spirits after debuting his 2022 with no less than a title (the 89th of his career) at the Melbourne Summer Set.

He was the Spaniard’s first on the Australian tour since he lifted his first Australian Open in 2009.
