NBA announces the third edition of the Jr. NBA Coaches program

The NBA has announced the third edition of the program Jr. NBA Coaches – Online, ‘presented by Gatorade®, a virtual content platform that includes tutorials, instructional videos and clinics. Launched for the first time in 2020, the program saw the participation of 20 current and former coaches from 5 different countries. The free program, hosted on OWQLO, the official app of the Jr. NBA League in Europe and the Middle East (EME), consists of 12 live coaching clinics, starting from February until September and dedicated to coaches and players in Italy, France and the UK.

Open to users of all levels and skills, ages 16 and up, the app will include sessions with various content offerings made even more stimulating thanks to the presence of live coaching clinics moderated by the NBA operation team and several NBA coaches current and not.

Gatorade, the NBA’s leading sports drink and official sports drink brand, returns as the program’s presenting partner to support attendees with a hydration and nutrition section.

The first clinic, to be held on Saturday February 13, will see guest Ryan Saunders, former head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, to follow, the clinic on Sunday 27 March with Brittni Donaldson, former assistant coach under the Toronto Raptors and ai Raptors 905 in the NBA G League. The clinics will also include a Q&A section, thus giving participants the opportunity to ask questions, receiving answers from the guest coach. The dates and guests of the subsequent sessions of the JR online program. NBA Coaches presented by Gatorade will be released in progress. The clinics will also be visible on demand on the OWQLO app.
