The streaming platform has announced the production of a documentary that will show the stories and lives of the best golfers in the tournament on the main circuit in the United States (USA). The content producers, Vox Media Studios and Box to Box Films, will also have access to the biggest events of the championship, including the four Majors.
The chosen production companies have experience in the sector since they were those responsible for directing the documentary, also from Netflix, Formula 1: Drive to survive. Filming began this January and will shoot the 2022 season with executive producers David Check, Chad Mumm and Mark Olsen at the helm.
For the moment More than twenty golfers have already confirmed their participation, among which are Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth or the world’s number 1 amateur golfer, Keita Nakajima. The documentary will offer from training to prepare for tournaments, to travel, competition, personal interviews and the day to day of the entire organization.
