NACON and Eko Software released a new gameplay video for Rugby 22, the latest in the rugby franchise, yesterday. The game will be released on January 27, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC.
The released video gives fans of the series a deeper look into the new features of the upcoming title. The focus is on the following improvements and innovations:
- Optimized in-game control: Regardless of whether it is contact situations, backpacks or packages, the new control system ensures more responsive and intuitive gameplay and lets fans experience the rugby feeling even more intensely.
- Improved AI: Smarter opponents and more realistic reactions from your own team significantly increase the simulation experience in Rugby 22. The team at Eko Software optimized the AI especially with regard to its adaptability to tactical game decisions and commands.
- New level of difficulty: For those looking for a rugby challenge, a new more complex difficulty level has been added. This offers all rugby professionals a higher level of difficulty and stronger opponents once they have mastered Rugby 22.
Rugby 22 combines all the basic elements of modern rugby: official teams, ongoing tactical changes before and during the game as well as various moves, passes and combinations.
