The young athlete from Chía, Laura Valentina Galeano Bojacá, was summoned by the Colombian Badminton Federation to be part of the qualifier to join the national team.
The national team will participate in the III South American Youth Games to be held in Argentina from April 28 to May 8, 2022.
Laura integrates the list of 17 athletes from leagues such as Valle, Quindío, Antioquia, Bogotá and Cundinamarca.

These 17 Badminton representatives will compete in the selective at the end of January and from which the 4 Colombian representatives, 2 men and 2 women, will go to the South American event.
It is noteworthy that the athlete from Chía finished the year 2021 with a perfect record, winning the 4 tournaments of the U17 category, placing herself in the Ranking 1 of Colombia.
Currently, Laura is carrying out demanding preparation days with her coach, Pedro Sánchez, with whom they have the firm conviction of starting 2022 wearing the national tricolor and representing Chía in Argentine territory.
