The Tennessee Titans star player practiced with contact for the first time in several weeks. After the session, head coach Mike Vrabel said he wanted to replicate some of the situations that will come up for Henry if he returns to the game. see at work for more than one practice.
On Saturday, the Titans take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a conference semifinal matchup.
Earlier this month, the Tennessee club put the running back’s name on the Designated Players List to remove him from the Injured List.
Henry broke his foot in his team’s Oct. 31 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He therefore missed the last eight games of the regular season for his team. Prior to that misfortune, he led the NFL with 937 yards and 10 touchdowns on 219 carries. He had also caught 18 balls for 154 yards.
The Titans enjoyed a week off in the first weekend of the playoffs thanks to their strong ranking. With a 12-5 record, Vrabel’s men finished their regular season ranked first in the AFC.
For their part, the Bengals won their first playoff game in 31 years last week, when they won 26-19 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
