NFL: the Chiefs win a crazy game

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills fought an epic duel that ended in a 42-36 overtime victory for Patrick Mahomes and his crew on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

The final moments of the fourth quarter of this conference semi-final game were nothing short of spectacular, as 25 points were scored in the final two minutes of regulation time.

The Bills first gave themselves a three-point priority when quarterback Josh Allen found Gabriel Davis in the pay zone. Just five plays later, Tyreek Hill scored a 64-yard major to put the Chiefs back in front.

Allen and Davis then did it again, with just 13 seconds left in the final quarter. It was the fourth time the pair had teamed up to score a touchdown in the game.

Mahomes, however, did not want his season to end. The center spotted tight end Travis Kelce in Bills territory. With two seconds left on the scoreboard, Harrison Butker made a 49-yard field goal to send everyone into overtime.

The Chiefs won the toss and did not miss the opportunity to end hostilities. Mahomes turned to Kelce again and the latter grabbed the ball behind the goal line for the win. Allen and the Bills offense therefore did not have the opportunity to return to the field.

The game-winning quarterback finished his contest with 32 completions on 43 attempts for 370 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a middle finger with his legs.

For his part, Allen completed 27 of 37 throws he threw for 329 yards and four touchdowns. Very productive with his legs in critical moments of the game, the 25-year-old quarterback amassed 68 yards on runs.

In the final of the American Association, the Chiefs have an appointment with the Bengals of Cincinnati. The latter defeated the Tennessee Titans on Saturday.
