Novak Djokovic visited the Ostrog Monastery, in Montenegro, in search of restoring peace lost since the beginning of 2022. Without being able to compete in Australia, the Serbian took refuge in a place where little can be known about tennis.
Also, his coach, Marian Vajda, left several sentences in an interview published by the Slovak sports newspaper “Sport”. Said “It is clear that this has hit him mentally, that it will hurt him for a long time and it is clear that it will be difficult to get (what happened) out of his head.”
“However, I know my pupil very well. Novak is strong, persevering and has not yet said his last word in tennis,” the Slovakian coach assured.
Vajda, who has trained the Serbian tennis player since 2006, takes turns with Croatian Goran Ivanisevic when accompanying Djokovic to world tour tournaments and was not with his disciple in Melbourne.
