Two years from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the city of Castelnau-le-Lez carries the values of Olympism. Around 600 pupils from primary schools in Mario-Roustan, Jean Moulin and Antoine-de-Saint-Exupéry will take part in Olympic and Paralympic Week (SOP), from January 24 to January 28.
This week aims to promote sports practice among young people and to mobilize the educational community around the civic values conveyed by sport.
On the program: official ceremony, discovery and introduction to Olympic sports, disabled sports and meetings with high-level athletes.
Committed to sports practice, the city of Castelnau-le-Lez has been selected as a preparation center for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Stronghold of sport on the territory, the Palais des sports Jacques-Chaban-Delmas will be able to accommodate national delegations of basketball, volleyball and judo.
