OM: Lyon-Marseille will be well replayed – Around OM

According to RMC, the Marseille club will not seize the CNOSF (French National Olympic and Sports Council) in the file of the incidents of the Lyon-OM match. It is therefore now certain: the match will be replayed in Lyon and behind closed doors.

As explained by the radio media, OM mainly disputed the fact of having to replay the match and had been informed on January 5 of the decision of the appeal committee of the French Football Federation to reject its request. The Provencal entity had two weeks to seek advice and conciliation before the CNOSF but it decided not to bring the file before the institution. A date will therefore be set to replay the meeting behind closed doors, at Groupama Stadium.

As a reminder, on November 21, four minutes after kick-off, Dimitri Payet was hit in the face by a full bottle thrown by an individual located in the North Kop. The meeting was then interrupted and definitively stopped after more than an hour of deliberations. In the standings, OM are 3rd with 37 points, OL 11th with 28 points. Both teams have one game less. The return to the Vélodrome will take place on May 1 during the 35th day.
