OPEN D’AUSTRALIE – Monday’s program: Rafael Nadal and Naomi Osaka start the ball rolling, nine French outings

Maria Sakkari will launch the Australian Open on Monday for the first day on the Rod Laver court where the defending champion Naomi Osaka, then Rafael Nadal and Ashleigh Barty will succeed her. The main court will host at the end of the program Alexander Zverev, whose match has been rescheduled there to replace that of Novak Djokovic, the defending champion having been expelled from Australia on Sunday.

Nine French people, out of the 18 in the running, enter the tournament on Monday.
