Our Flammes Carolo match, which we will play in France this evening in the first leg of the last 16 of the FIBA Women’s European Cup (EuroCup Women), has been postponed due to 5 covid-19 cases in the opponent.
Our orange-dark blue team, who went to France for the match on Monday morning, 17 January, started to wait for the match time after the training sessions held yesterday evening and today morning. The test of 5 basketball players was positive in the host Flammes Carolo, who gave the covid test after some of the players were symptomatic before the match, which will start at 22.00 TSI this evening. At the meeting, FIBA officials decided to postpone the match, and the return match, which was planned to be played in Mersin on January 22, was also cancelled. The parties will go to the park according to the new match schedule to be announced.
As it is known, the first match, which was announced to be played in France on January 13, was postponed to January 19 due to positive cases in our representative.
