The Pittsburgh Pirates are willing to listen to offers for their starting shortstop Kevin Newman after the MLB work stoppage ends.
According to a report by The Athletic newspaper, the team that lives in the National League could include the shortstop in a transfer with another organization.

Newman, last season played 148 games in the regular round and finished with an offensive line average of 226, and with 117 hits in 554 at-bats. The player’s main weapon is his defensive strength, in the season that ended he was among the finalists for the Golden Glove award for best Shorstop.
