PJ Washington available?

On a good dynamic, winners of their last 4 games, the Hornets are serious candidates for direct qualification in the playoffs. And they could well be active by the deadline, not necessarily to strengthen themselves in the long term, but in anticipation of possible re-signatures of Miles Bridges and Cody Martin this summer.

Very important in the workforce, the Hornets will no doubt want to keep them, but they flirt with the luxury tax, and if we are to believe Bleacher Report, they would be open to a trade from PJ Washington, who will be eligible for an extension. The strong winger, drafted in 12th position in 2019, lost his starting spot, but remains an important element of the bench with his ability to spread the game, he who shoots 40.9% from afar, for 10.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 passes. He should ask for a fairly large contract this summer and it may be time for Charlotte to trade him to recover an interesting consideration when choices will have to be made during the off-season.
